Balfour Beatty seeks contractor for £30m of MEP work

Construction and engineering services firm Balfour Beatty is searching for a contractor to carry out MEP work on five MEP buildings for two HS2 tunnels in the Midlands.

The contract, worth up to £30m, would involve design and development and may be required to procure and manage the installation of the MEP required for the buildings.

The contract is suitable for SMEs but Balfour Beatty has asked that firms “assess their internal capabilities to be able to carry out the intended scope of the work” before completing an expression of interest by 4 September 2022.
