Our policy is to respect and protect the privacy of anyone who visits the ECA today website at  www.ecatoday.co.uk (owned and operated by the Electrical Contractors' Association Ltd).

Personal Information Collected

Where we ask you for personal information in order for you to subscribe to the ECA Today e-newsletter or the ECA Today print publication, this information will only be used for the purpose indicated and will be held in a secure manner. It will not be used for any other purpose without your permission, and will not be kept for longer than necessary.

Use of IP addresses

We collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration and to audit the use of our site. Your IP addresses may be used to identify the organisation or company that you are employed by however this will not be linked to anything personally identifiable, which means that while your user session will be logged you will remain anonymous to us as an individual.

Our website uses cookies, as almost all websites do, to help provide you with the best experience we can. Data Privacy and GDPR

We manage and process your personal data in compliance with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

Explicit interest must be given to receive information (the ECA Today e-newsletter or print publication) from www.ecatoday.co.uk

Individuals are able to opt-out of receiving the e-newsletter or print publication at anytime by accessing the relevant links therein or emailing the editor@ecatoday.co.uk.

By registering or allowing the registration of your personal data with us, either through our website or in any other way, you agree to us processing your personal data for the purposes of sending the ECA Today newsletter or ECA Today print publication.

In order to administer the ECA Today newsletter or ECA Today print publication, we will disclose some or all of your Personal Data to the ECA Group, auditors and service providers.
