Coronavirus Update | 20th April 2020

Hello, this is the ECA coronavirus update for Monday, 20^th of April.

The online Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme claims portal has opened today.

The online portal, as well as an official claims calculator, can be accessed at the following address: cutt.ly/CJRS . Employers need a Government Gateway ID, password, and PAYE Online account before claiming.

We advise employers to carefully read the HMRC’s step-by step guide available on its website, and to make sure they have all the required information to hand before inputting their claim.

The established Government online guide on eligibility to make a claim under the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme remains in place and continues to be updated.
