Why buy PMI?

With the knock-on effects of Covid-19 impacting on NHS waiting times and treatment, an increasing number of businesses are turning to PMI to help keep their workforce healthy and productive.
Did you know that one of the many benefits of being an ECA Member is access to an exclusive Private Medical Insurance scheme (PMI) with Bupa?
An exclusive scheme for ECA members
The ECA PMI scheme is only available through ECIS, a chartered insurance broker with a wealth of experience in the health and wellbeing market. The PMI scheme has served ECA Members for over 40 years and provides a range of benefits to help keep your staff healthy and support them if they become unwell.
It comes with a range of benefits, including full cover for in-patient and day-patient treatment and the Babylon Digital GP which provides access to a GP 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There are also several remote services to help you and your employees access support from the comfort of your own home.
Large Group Scheme Closes
Recently, an alternative PMI Scheme that some ECA Members may have been using for their private medical provision has closed for new business and renewals from 1st April. If you are one of the businesses impacted by this decision, ECIS can review your policy and offer alternative options, including the ECA PMI scheme which is only available through ECIS.
Attract and retain staff with PMI
Providing employees with PMI can help keep your staff productive. The PMI scheme can also set you apart from competitors and help with the acquisition and retention of staff, by helping employees feel valued and motivated.
If you don’t already have a PMI scheme or if you have a PMI renewal approaching, ECIS can help you find the right option for you. Visit our website at www.ecins.co.uk or contact us at ecis@ecins.co.uk.
