ECA’s employment and skills team outline the options businesses have to help them retain employees in these challenging times, above and beyond the furlough scheme.

Guidance is offered on reducing hours, reducing pay, unpaid leave and other measures, as well as ECA’s own loan labour scheme. The team also assesses the various support measures for job protection, job creation and young people announced by Government in recent weeks, and advise on whether and how ECA members might make use of these.
