The second phase of restrictions on the sale of T5 and T8 lamps will come into effect shortly, presenting contractors and manufacturers with new challenges of collection, disposal, and recycling of old mercury bearing lamps.

As the only Lighting Producer Compliance Scheme in the UK with its own in-house Mercury Lamp Treatment facility, Lumicom is perfectly positioned to help ECA members recycle this lighting. The 4.5 acre facility operates to ISO9001 (Quality), ISO14001 (Environment) and ISO45001 (OH&S) standards.
