Meet the latest updates to ElectricalOM

During the last year, many of our customers looking at using ElectricalOM had expressed concern that Trimble Fastest (Amtech) was coming to an end.
Support for this product ended on the 30th November 2021, and with the new amendment to BS 7671 on the horizon, for some, the timing was not good.
As time was running out and with limited options for transferring and continuing to use legacy information, we were inundated with requests to provide support and functionality for this within ElectricalOM.
So we did…
ElectricalOM has now released Fastest Import (Beta).
This feature is included as standard in our latest update (Electrical OM 2022.02) and is available to all users with access to this version as part of their ElectricalOM Licence.
Tips for current users
It is recommended you save a backup of your Fastest data locally on your computer. This can be done from here:
You will also need this file to import the data into ElectricalOM.
You can Import your data into ElectricalOM from here:
With Fastest Import (Beta), simply importing data is not enough for us. We believe we have the most powerful electrical design calculation engine, sleek design interface and comprehensive compliance tools available to the industry, meaning we can do better than providing an accessible copy of a report or certificate.
So again, we did…
Fastest Import (Beta) ensures your data is transformed into detailed electrical system schematics in our CAD environment. You can quickly produce and provide professional framed drawings, cable schedules and diagrams.
You can also see the full history of your test data for each circuit, and easily find anomalies in the data sets. You can also gain crucial insights into deterioration and confirmation of compliance with standards.
Test results can be used to generate design details, selectivity studies, fault calculation checks, voltage drop analysis, cable withstand times and more. These are all verified against Manufacturer data and dozens of BS, IEC, HD, PD, EN and IEEE Standards that are incorporated into the operation of ElectricalOM.
In addition, you can generate reports from the data to give critical H&S and Maintenance files, providing vital input to the required ‘golden thread’ of electrical building information.
ElectricalOM continually adapts to meet modern methods of construction and modern working practices. We listen to our customers and provide software that is dynamic, user friendly, and provide essential support to small businesses all way up to global consultancies.
If you are not currently a user, you can trial the software free for 14 days from our website and try these features out at; www.electricalom.com
