Low carbon consultations launched
Industry bodies are actively seeking industry feedback via two consultations launched to determine the critical training requirements for low carbon technologies such as heat pumps and low temperature systems.
The Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE) is now carrying out consultation with installers and industry figures to get their views on proposals for the core competencies industry will require to provide low temperature heating and hot water systems.
The Heat Pump Association (HPA), working in conjunction with CIPHE, BEAMA and the Ground Source Heat Pump Association, are undertaking an additional consultation to determine similar training criteria for heat pump installation.
The deadline to respond to both surveys is 29 June.
