87 COVID-19 deaths in construction

New figures released by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) have revealed that 87 people in skilled construction and building trades have died from COVID-19, the respiratory disease caused by the novel coronavirus.

This equates to a death rate of 10.4 deaths per 100,000 males.

The findings are based on official Office for National Statistics calculations, based on provisional data, and the findings could change as more deaths are registered.
