Schneider makes 2030 EV commitment
Schneider Electric has announced plans to move its entire car fleet onto electric vehicles by 2030, as part of its commitment to net zero carbon.
As a result, Schneider will be replacing 14,000 company cars in over 50 countries with electric vehicles in the coming years. They will also be installing EV charging infrastructure at its major offices and factories by the same deadline.
The announcement coincides with Schneider joining The Climate Group’s EV100 initiative, a global project which aims to decarbonise the transport sector.
