LSBU and BSRIA launch research and innovation centre

London South Bank University and the Building Services Research and Information Association (BSRIA) have launched a new joint research and innovation centre. Named the BSRIA-LSBU Innovation Centre (BLIC), the partnership will promote collaborative research and development.

The partnership aims to create new solutions that will benefit the construction and building engineering services sector.

Professor Phoenix, Vice Chancellor of LSBU said: “This new partnership will help generate research outputs that will benefit the sector but will also feed into our teaching by providing new case studies and projects.

Julia Evans, CEO of BSRIA, said: “These two institutions will bring enormous focus to the key challenges facing the built environment and will deliver practical and effective outcomes to the major issue we all face.”
